Today’s daily devotional about strength and courage is meant to encourage and motivate you to face and overcome your fears. We all need a daily dose of strength and courage so that we can have the courage to face whatever life throws our way.
Yesterday, we shared wisdom and discernment.
It’s my prayer that fear, anxiety, self-doubt, etc. will go away. That you become the strongest, most courageous version of yourself.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
Philippians 4:13 is a verse written by the apostle Paul, while he was imprisoned in Rome. His aim was to let any Christian who desires to trust in God’s strength and power in their life have the STRENGTH and COURAGE to withstand.
See, this letter was written Christian church in Philippi, at a time when Paul, the writer himself, was imprisoned and the church was in disarray. In the letter, Paul encourages the believers to rejoice in their faith and to follow the example of Christ. He was basically telling them that the sufficiency of God’s strength and power in our lives is enough, and although he has been put in prison, the example of Christ should be sufficient.
By this, we are also being reminded that as believers we should trust in God’s strength and power to enable us to do all things, no matter how difficult or impossible they may seem.
No matter the obstacles you face, lift them up to God in prayer and expect Him to answer you.
Listen, the historical context in which this verse was written was one of persecution and difficulty for the early Christian church. To apply this verse in practical ways in our lives is by trusting in God’s strength and power in our daily lives and relying on him to enable us to do all things.
Reflection:
Let us be reminded of the sufficiency of God’s strength and power in our lives today, and be encouraged to trust in him, no matter what challenges we face. Beloved, have hope and confidence as you seek to follow God’s will for your life today.

Let’s say a Prayer for Strength and Courage!
My Father,
As I begin my day, I come to you seeking your strength and courage to face whatever challenges that may come my way. I know that you are the source of all power and strength, and I truly trust in your omnipotence to enable me to do all things.
Help me to rely on you in every situation and to trust in your goodness and your leading. Give me the courage to stand firm in my faith and to follow your will for my life, no matter what obstacles may come my way.
Please help me to remember that I do not need to fear, for you are my God and you will strengthen me and help me
I pray that your strength and courage would be evident in my life today and that I would be a witness to your love and grace.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.
