Today, I’m inviting you to fully embrace Unshakable Confidence and unwavering trust in God amidst life’s challenges. I want you to be encouraged to walk with the mighty, awesome God who is always by your side.

You’re already aware that your persecutors will stumble and fail if you depend totally on Him. Stand up and get your renewed sense of assurance back and experience the power of God in your daily life.

But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.

Jeremiah 20:11 (NKJV)

In Jeremiah 20:11, the prophet expresses his unwavering confidence in God’s presence and protection. Although he faced stiff persecution and opposition, Jeremiah declares that the Lord is with him as a mighty and awesome One. To him, his persecutors will stumble and be ashamed, and their confusion will never be forgotten.

This verse highlights Jeremiah’s trust in God’s strength and his assurance of divine justice and protection.

Reflection on “Unshakable Confidence”

There are times when as a believer you may face doubts and uncertainties. Today, if you find yourself questioning your faith or feeling overwhelmed by the challenges around you, take heart, for in the midst of our doubts, God offers us unshakable confidence.

Even Jeremiah, a faithful prophet called and commissioned by God, experienced his share of doubts and struggles. In the depths of his despair, he discovered an unwavering truth: the presence of God.

Despite the opposition and persecution he faced, Jeremiah clung to the assurance that the Lord was with him as a mighty, awesome One.

Like Jeremiah, we may encounter moments when our faith may falter. We may even question our purpose, feel inadequate, or wrestle with the unknown. However, we should find comfort in God, for He is with us.

He assures us that he’ll support us and give us the strength we require throughout each challenge. Let’s embrace unwavering faith in the presence of the Almighty today rather than in our own capabilities.

Today, let’s draw near to God when we struggle with uncertainty and doubt, asking for His direction and placing our uncertainties in His capable hands.

May we take comfort in the knowledge that our doubts do not define us, but rather present us with chances to increase our faith in the One who is unwavering!

Despite facing persecution and opposition, the prophet Jeremiah declares that the Lord is with him as a mighty and awesome One. If a whole prophet of God, dully called by Him saw persecution, then we will also have a fair share of our own!

Prayer points on Unshakable Confidence

  • Pray for a deepened trust: Ask God to deepen your trust in Him and His faithfulness. Pray for the ability to release doubts and insecurities, and to rely fully on His guidance and provision.
  • Pray for a renewed mindset: Seek God’s help in renewing your mind with His truth. Pray for the ability to align your thoughts with His Word and replace doubt and negativity with hope and confidence in His promises.
  • Pray for strength in challenges: Seek God’s strength and resilience to face challenges and trials with unshakable confidence. Pray for the ability to lean on His power in moments of weakness.

My Father, in the midst of all doubts and uncertainties, grant me the sure grace to surrender my doubts, weaknesses, and fears to You. Let me fully trust in Your unfailing love and provision.

May my confidence rest in You alone. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
